From the age of 7 Shona started directing her own career into the world of performing arts and it’s a career path she is still on today, 27 years later!
As a child Shona attended a local stage school gaining training in dance, singing and acting and it was here that she first found that spark for the stage taking on roles in yearly musicals. Through the years Shona would attend any audition available and it was at the age of 12, when she started vocal training with the incredible Kevin Fountain, who now coaches on The Voice, that Shona decided the main route of her path would be through Musical Theatre.
After school she went on to study her craft at Brooksby Melton College earning a triple distinction in Musical Theatre. Before she graduated, she had been spotted by an agent and went on to perform internationally as a lead vocalist for various line ups. This moulded her career and shaped her into the performer that she is today.
Having worked in most areas of the performing arts world, from an Amy Winehouse tribute to a singing princess, leading a band in Bahrain to having a regular DJ spot in Birmingham, Shona really does like to add many strings to her bow.
Having not performed in a theatre show for a fair few years Shona made her comeback with Encore in 2019 in their performance of “Chicago” and is now ready to throw herself completely into the world of Panto!.
